Memory foam pillows

At current, memory foam is everywhere.  Whether you're buying a mattress, mattress cover, bed pillow or travel pillow, it's clear that this material has made its way into almost every type of product in the sleep industry.

There's a reason this pillow is popular: the Face-fixing and stress-relieving foam.  Memory foam, also known as tempered foam, is a unique type of high-density foam known for buffering the body and relieving stress.  It was originally developed by NASA in 1966 to help absorb shock, add protection and comfort to NASA's airplane seats.  Eventually, it was found to make every day's sleep equally comfortable.

Memory foam pillows have become a popular trend.  The durable, dense memory foam is made from a polymer called polyurethane that molds your head and neck while you sleep, providing the ideal level of support.  Being able to adjust to the shape of your head when you lie down on your pillow, they offer extraordinary support and are completely customised and personalised to ensure your total comfort.  Memory foams also often have the benefit of being cooler while sleeping, making them especially suitable for people who have trouble staying cool while sleeping.

What sizes do memory foam pillows come in?
Memory foam pillows usually come in the following sizes, but the exact size may vary by manufacturer:

Standard Pillow (20 "x 26"): Standard pillow is the smallest and most commonly used size and can be used on any size bed.
Extra-standard (20 inches x 28 inches): Extra-standard pillows are rare.  They are intermediate in length between standard and queen pillows and can be fitted to any mattress below queen.
Large size (20 inches x 30 inches): Large size pillows can often be used as an alternative to standard pillows.  They offer more room for those who are active at night, or who prefer to sleep with their pillows folded up.
King (20 inches x 36 inches): In addition to providing ample sleeping space, the King pillow is also one of the most comfortable sizes for sitting up.  Most online bedding companies offer oversized pillows.
Body pillow (54 inches x 20 inches or 48 inches x 20 inches): The body pillow is long and thin and is used to hold.  This is the most common sleeping position for side sleepers, who position themselves between their legs to keep their hips aligned and reduce tension in their lower back.  The body pillow is also a valuable sleeping tool for pregnant women and can be a comfortable back for sitting.
Common problems with memory foam pillows

How much is the memory foam pillow?
A good memory foam pillow usually starts at around $50 and can go up to $150 or more.  Prices vary by size, foam density and quality, cooling capabilities, and other features such as special shapes or high quality coverage. Compared to other types of pillows, memory foam pillows are similar to latex pillows, cheaper than buckwheat or down pillows, and more expensive than polyester or down substitute pillows.

How to clean memory foam pillow?
Some broken memory foam pillows are machine washable, but most whole pillows can only be washed clean.  It is important to note that the memory sponge can become moldy if it is not allowed to dry properly, so clean the spot easily and try not to get the pillow too wet.  Many memory foam pillows come with detachable pillowcases that are machine washable.

How long will the memory foam pillow last?
Memory foam pillows last two to three years on average, longer than down pillows, but not as long as latex and buckwheat pillows.
Even the best memory foam pillow eventually loses its integrity.  The whole pillow began to develop permanent indentation, and the broken memory foam pillow became lumpy.  While high-density memory foam tends to be more durable than low-density memory foam, the downside is that high-density memory foam can also trap more heat.
Regular cleaning and fuzz can help extend the life of memory foam pillows.  All you can do is keep your pillow as clean as possible and wash the pillowcase regularly, since the whole thing can easily become moldy when wet.
