Colgate 100% rPET bottles for home care
Colgate-palmolive takes the lead in making 100% rPET bottles for all home care cleaners in the Australian market. The packaging's colorless cap, label material compatible with PET recycling streams, and metal-free pump head set the tone for further market expansion.
 



Unilever sheet mask packaging
The packaging is designed for recyclability as it consists of more than 95% PP raw materials. Non-recyclable raw materials contain less than 5% of the weight of the laminate.


NATURIS:Bottles made from 100% recycled plastic
This 1L recyclable bottle package is the first on the Spanish market consisting of 100% rPET, an HDPE bottle cap and a recyclable sleeve printed with washable ink. The slim shape makes it easy to handle.



PET bottles made from carbon dioxide
In 2021, Swiss company Mibelle launched PET bottles made from 30% carbon dioxide. With the help of startup LanzaTech's CO2 recovery technology, Mibelle Group converts it into ethanol and becomes the raw material for other plastic packaging, which can be captured and recycled from CO2 to reduce oil consumption and fit into existing recycling systems.

Swiss PAPACKS® Fiber Bottle is a 100% compostable and recyclable bottle made from a renewable fiber material. Combined with PAPACKS® IMG, an injection molded particle made from 100% organic ingredients, is a viable alternative to traditional plastic/glass bottles. It can be applied in the beverage to home care market segments and also solves the recycling problem of glass and plastic bottles.

P&G shampoo refill reduces plastic by 60%
P&G's shampoo refill line includes new reusable 100% aluminum bottles and reusable refill soft bags that use 60 percent less plastic than regular plastic bottles. P&g says it is on track to reduce the use of native plastic in shampoo and conditioner by 50 percent by the end of 2021 and reduce the production of 300 million plastic bottles a year through recycling.

Wellman Packaging has introduced Squeezepak™ fully recyclable flavor squeeze bottles made from 100% food-grade recycled plastic rLDPE with approximately 8% less resin, 50% less pigment, and approximately 10% more filling volume. Extrusion load was increased by approximately 12% and thermal filling performance was improved by optimizing the bottom design.

100% PCR and single material packaging are emphasized

 

Single material olive snack packaging
Greek olive oil brand GAEA and packaging manufacturer HATZOPOULOS have launched their first European recyclable single-material olive packaging. Completely redesigned, single-material olive packaging meets recycling requirements while maintaining high barrier properties. All PP packaging is Interseroh certified and bears the "Made for Recycling" mark.
 

 

Chobani (PakPot) yogurt cup
Chobani yogurt tubs are not only sustainable in design, but also feature a patented design and injection /IML process (using PakPot's unique tools) that enables labels to be shaped like shrink sleeves. Containers and IML are produced from a single material (PP). The packaging is lighter, 100% sortable and recyclable, ensuring a truly sustainable design.

 

100% rPET Drinking yogurt bottle
Pact Group, in partnership with The Collective, has launched The first yoghurt bottles in New Zealand using 100% PCR-based resin rPET in their packaging. The Collective's 700ml drinkable yogurt bottle range (including 5 SKUs) is now made from 100% PCR based food grade rPET.

The shampoo bottle made by Enplast is made from 94% recycled PCR materials.

 

100% recycled PCR Toothpaste tube
The tube is made from post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and meets all the necessary barrier properties throughout its life cycle. The use of PCR minimizes the use of raw materials.
